We had a little playgroup at our house yesterday - put out all our crafty things and they made valentines. Of course my kid was the one who refused all the pink and red paper, and went for the black so she could make a fire-breathing dragon. She then told me she wanted to make a "turtle knight" (?") and a princess for him to rescue. Oh, well - at least she had fun! Maybe next year on the valentines, right?
